"Heneral Luna" Premieres at Asian American International Film Festival 2015


The 38th Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF), presented by Asian CineVision, is thrilled to present the World Festival premiere of HENERAL LUNA. Directed by award-winning Filipino filmmaker Jerrold Tarog, HENERAL LUNA follows the life of General Antonio Luna during the Philippine-American war in an epic historical battle, as he tries to lead his countrymen against colonial masters. Pivoting between the internal struggle to unite his men, while trying to rise above their raging disputes, the story showcases one of the Philippine’s most brilliant military men trying to fulfill the promise of the Philippine Revolution.

HENERAL LUNA will screen at 4:30 pm at Cinema Village East on Thursday, July 25, 2015.

Festival Ticket Information
Tickets for general admission are $14. Tickets for seniors (65+), students and handicapped (must present valid ID) are $12. Tickets for ACV members and Community Partners are $10.50. The Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF) is a presentation of Asian CineVision.
