Many Filipinos find themselves heirs to an estate that a relative passed on to them through death. Acquiring the title to the estate involves a very complex and tedious process that is daunting to the heirs, leading to inaction. Such inaction can make succession to title very expensive, if altogether unaffordable to all but the extremely rich.
