KalayaanSF, a San Francisco Bay Area organization that includes the Philippine Consulate General of San Francisco, non-profits, and community groups, once again has prepared exciting events for the whole community to enjoy in celebration of the 118th Anniversary of Philippine Independence. 

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) today continued its efforts to ensure reliable natural gas and electricity supply to areas impacted by Southern California Gas Company’s Aliso Canyon Storage Facility leak by authorizing another utility company serving the area, Southern California Edison, to expedite its purchase of energy storage.

The country’s tourism industry performance is off to a thriving start this year and continues to break records with the month of February 2016 reaching a total of 549,725 visitors for a double-digit increase of 20.42% from 2015. 

Kore 2016 Pro-Am was back at Journey at Pechanga last April 3 and 4, 2016. Pechanga held the tournament at their resort for the fourth year as the proud official sponsor.

The event is organized by several Fil-Am organizations including Global Filipino Network (GFN), Filipino Professional Network at Cisco (FPN), International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting (ISFFA) and Your Filipino Professionals Network (YFPA). DeVry University has partnered with this event and is providing their campus as the site for this year's event.
