Filipina NASA Pioneer Remembered

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) extended their condolences to the family of physicist Angelita Castro-Kelly, who passed away recently due to a lingering condition Castro-Kelly was the first woman to become Mission Operations Manager at the NASA. She succumbed to lupus complications on 7 June, and is survived by her husband and three children. She passed away at the age of 73, reports GMA News.
