[PARTNER] Deadline to register for overseas voting for the 2022 Philippine National Elections

As the 30 September 2021 deadline to register for overseas voting for the 2022 Philippine National Elections nears, the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco encourages Filipinos to register at the Consulate on Sutter Street in San Francisco from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, or during our upcoming consular outreach missions in Portland, Oregon on 8-11 September 2021 (https://pcgsanfrancisco.org/ph-consulate-in-sf-to-hold-consular-outreach-in-oregon/) and Bozeman, Montana on 22-25 September 2021.

The Consulate General also reminds overseas voters who were deactivated by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) for failing to vote in the 2016 and 2019 National and Local Elections to re-register to enable them to participate in the 2022 Presidential Elections. In November 2019, the COMELEC deactivated 23,115 overseas voters under the consular jurisdiction of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, which covers 10 states. More details may be read on this: https://dfa.gov.ph/dfa-news/statements-and-advisoriesupdate/25174-public-advisory-dfa-urges-deactivated-overseas-voters-to-re-register
