Effective January 1, 2015, state residents will be eligible to apply for driver's license in California regardless of immigration status, reports GMA News. California follows Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Washington in enacting such law.
