Acting on complaints from the victims themselves, police on June 26 rescued 29 women who were duped into a mail-order bride scheme with Korean men, reports Rappler.com. Police raided a house at St Andrea Village 2, Brgy Panapaan, Bacoor, Cavite, and arrested three Filipinos and two Korean nationals, who were purportedly members of a syndicate.
