Dear Kasama,
FAJ is now accepting applications from Filipino high school seniors graduating in Spring 2026.
The Soledad Fernandez Scholarship awards $5,000 to support a student’s college journey and honors the legacy of a proud Filipina immigrant whose resilience, love of learning, and belief in young people continue to inspire.
Application Deadline:
April 12, 2026 • 11:00 PM PST
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
• Be 50–100% Filipino
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Reside and attend high school in the SF Bay Area
• Demonstrate financial need
• Attend the scholarship award luncheon during the award year and the following year

• Completed online application
• FAFSA or guardian’s income tax returns
• College letter(s) of admission
• Official high school transcript sent directly to FAJ
