WHAT THIS CONFERENCE IS ABOUT
Not a history lesson.
A strategy session.
Stages of Resistance connects Philippine Martial Law history to a present in which artists and cultural workers face arrest, detention, deportation, censorship, cancelled grants, and institutional pressure to retreat. The goal is not only to understand what happened—but to decide what artists can do now.
