In line with the celebration of its 50 years anniversary, Goldilocks had a Daly City store grand opening last May 20, 2016. Goldilocks aims to continue connecting with the Filipino American community and consistently offer affordable and traditional Filipino dishes. This was shared by Jo Ann Kyle, General Manager for Goldilocks USA as she addressed the audience at the event. The store opening was attended by one of Goldilocks founders, Mrs. Clarita Go, Philippine Consul General of San Francisco, Henry Bensurto Jr., Daly City officials and Filipino American community leaders. It is located at 6220 Mission St.

The Daly City branch is the second store to open in 2016. With a total number of 11 stores in the US and a soon-to-open Las Vegas store in the 4th quarter of 2016, there is still much work to be done according to Mary Ann Ortiz–Luis, President of Clarmil Manufacturing Corporation, the commissary of all Goldilocks stores in the U.S. Eventually, they want to bring their products closer to its customer base by making these available in mainstream stores. They are looking especially at California where Filipino cuisine is becoming increasingly popular. Globally, Goldilocks aims to have 500 stores by the end of 2016 in the Philippines, US and Canada.
