Bomba House, The Musical, free staged readings at Sentro Filipino

Coming up this weekend, a theater presentation written and composed by Bryan Pangilinan. "Bomba House, The Musical,"  a free staged readings is a new work that celebrates the gay Filipino experience in late ’90s San Francisco, blending freestyle, boy band, and OPM sounds into a heartfelt story of identity, resilience, and chosen family. Sentro Filipino doors will open on Saturday, July 19, for the  8-9pm show; and on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 3-4PM. Venue is at 814 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA.

The musical is written and composed by Bryan Pangilinan, composer and executive producer of the highly acclaimed Larry the Musical, an outstanding and historically based on the "American Journey of Larry Itliong, and Filipino American farmworkers who started the 1965 Great Delano Grape Strike. "Larry, the Musical"was based on the book "Journey for Justice: The Life of Larry Itliong" written by the late and loved Dr. Dawn Mabalon and Gayle Romasanta.
