Union City, June 2026: A multi-City Caravan by BNC team was launched at Island Pacific Supermarket at Union City, California, and attended by local officials, community leaders including newly installed San Francisco Consul General Arnel G. Talisayon; business representatives, and media. Award winning TV anchor, Henni Espinosa, the new North America Bureau head, hosted the event. Jacques M. Ruby, First Vice President of the Abante-Bilyonaro Group, said “This caravan is both an introduction and a statement of intent. We want overseas Filipinos to know that BNC is serious about building a stronger presence in North America, not just to report on what is happening back home, but to create a platform where the stories, achievements, and concerns of Filipinos abroad are also seen, heard, and valued.”

Guided by its tag line, “Bold, Brave, Beyond,” BNC sees global expansion as part of going beyond familiar comfort zones and building a more meaningful presence were Filipinos live, work and thrive.

The North America team is composed of seasoned multi-media journalists, producers and storytellers Filipino American audiences are familiar with having come from now defunct “Balitang America” a production of ABS-CBN Network. Many are multi-awarded journalists recognized for excellence in news and documentary productions, from Regional Emmy Awards, Telly Awards, New York Festivals, and other journalism organizations
