He was born and raised in the Bay Area.

“Newsies” is based on the 1992 Disney film, which is inspired by the New York City newsboys strike of 1899. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman, and book by Harvey Fierstein, the show ran on Broadway from 2012-2014.
