A Second Screening for 'The Road to Sydney' in Livermore

Director Benito Bautista and Sydney Loyola

It is a tremendous honor to celebrate the Bay Area premiere of The Road to Sydney at the 25th San Francisco Documentary Film Festival. This screening is especially meaningful because San Francisco is home to Sydney Loyola, as well as our executive producing team, making it a true homecoming.

To share this remarkable film with friends, supporters, and our community is deeply rewarding. While Sydney’s journey is unique, the film’s themes of authenticity, acceptance, resilience, and belonging are universal. At its heart, The Road to Sydney is a story of our shared humanity.

We are also grateful for a second Bay Area screening on June 7 (5:05 pm) at the inaugural Arté Film Festival at the Bankhead Theatre in Livermore.

As we conclude our festival run, we look forward to bringing this powerful story to wider audiences around the world through theatrical and streaming distribution. We hope it continues to inspire empathy, understanding, and meaningful dialogue.
