32nd Pistahan Parade and Festival 2025
/The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco is pleased to share the invitation from the Filipino American Arts Exposition (FAAE) to the 32nd annual Pistahan Parade and Festival, San Francisco’s largest Filipino celebration, on 9-10 August 2025. For this year’s Pistahan, the FAAE has adopted the theme, “Kapwa: Rooted in Resilience, Rise to the Challenge.”
The Pistahan Parade will take place on Saturday, 9 August 2025 at 11:00, a.m., with the parade starting at the Civic Center Plaza in Larkin Street, then along Market Street between 8th and 4th Streets and ending at 4th Street and Mission Street at Yerba Buena Gardens. It will feature colorful floats, cultural performers, musical groups, and community contingents that will kick off the weekend celebration.
The Pistahan Festival, a FREE two-day outdoor event at the Yerba Buena Gardens and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA), will run on 9-10 August 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. The Festival will feature world-class Filipino entertainment, traditional performances, food trucks, artisan shops, and Filipino immersive cultural experiences on the six themed pavilions namely: Art, Culinary, Dance, Innovation, Health and Wellness, Innovation, and Sports.
The Pistahan supports local artisans, food vendors and entrepreneurs, and provides opportunities for Filipinos and Americans to discover the history of the Philippines, its rich heritage, and traditions and what makes us uniquely Filipino.
