[Webinar Video] A Murder Most Foul (The Celine Archive)

Last July 29, 2022, Positively Filipino held a webinar on the The Celine Archive, a documentary on the murder of Cecilia Navarro, who was buried alive by some of her fellow Filipinos in Northern California. The panel included Celine Parreñas Shimizu, the director of the film and Dean of the Arts and Distinguished Professor of Film and Digital Media at the University of California at Santa Cruz. and Henie Navarro, the grandson of Cecilia Navarro. The event was moderated by Daniel Phil Gonzales, JD,Professor Emeritus of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University.
