Another recipe from “Pulutan: From the Soldiers' Kitchen” by Elmer D. Cruz and Emerson R. Rosales.

Prep and Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

1 kilo assorted seafood (shrimp, squid, tuna, cooked mussels)

4 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

2 tablespoons chopped onions

1/2 kilo assorted vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, Baguio beans, snowpeas, carrots)

1/2 cup chopped red bell peppers

4 tablespoons oyster sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

salt and pepper to taste

Procedure

1. Peel shrimps and remove heads. Set aside.

2. Slice squid into rings. Set aside.

3. Slice tuna in 1/2-inch cubes. Set aside.

4. Remove the mussels from the shells.

5. In a pan, heat butter then saute garlic and onions. Add squid and tuna.

6. Add shrimps and cook until they turn orange.

7. Add mussels and saute for another minute.

8. Stir in the vegetables and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.

9. Season with oyster sauce and soy sauce. Add some water. Simmer for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

10. Add siling labuyo or hot sauce as desired.

11. Serve on a sizzling plate.
