[Edgewise] Trump Immigration Clampdown Facing Backlash

A backlash against US President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown is starting to show, and it’s about time. A Gallup poll released on July 11 has a great majority of Americans showing more support for immigration than at any time in the last four years. Yes, that’s right.

A record high 79% of Americans now say immigration is good for the country, as opposed to a record low of 17% saying it isn’t. Curiously, 64% of Republicans now also agree, up from 39% last year. Read More Here
