Wesley So has won the first edition of the Clutch Chess Champions Showdown between the top American Grandmasters. The Philippine-born Wesley So took the title on Friday, May 29, 2020 (Saturday morning, May 30, Philippine Time) after winning the Round 11th final game against World No. 2 Fabiano Caruana (See Goodnewspilipinas.com for story).
