The Philippines won a total of 18 medals, including two golds, in the just-ended 2014 Wizards at Mathematics International Competition (Wizmic), held from Oct. 18 to 21 in Lucknow, northern India, reports Inquirer.net. Sixteen senior primary students, mostly from Metro Manila, also bagged 13 silver and three bronze medals in the 12-nation contest where the young Filipino numbers aces placed third overall.
