Fourteen-year-old Amin “Ahmed” Turabin Hataman won the bronze medal for his entry, a type of biodegradable plastic made from nata de coco, a coconut derivative, that disintegrates after several days of exposure to elements, at the 2015 International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering and Environmental Project (I-Sweep) Olympiad. It ranked third among 462 entries, reports Inquirer.net.
