Filipino-Spanish Businessman Was a Big Funder of 'Heneral Luna'

Filipino-Spanish businessman Fernando “Nando” Ortigas provided substantial funding for the hit historical feature film Heneral Luna. Ortigas and a few partners raised 100 million pesos for the critical and box-office success, which willbe the Philippines' entry in the Oscars. Ortigas made a cameo appearance in the film as one of the guests in a Spanish dinner party scene where President Emilio Aguinaldo walks in and kisses the hand of an elderly lady, reports Inquirer.net.
