Filipina from Leyte Wins Int’l Science Award

Hillary Andales, an 18-year-old resident of Palo, Leyte was awarded this year’s Breakthrough Junior Challenge prize. A student in Philippine Science High School’s Eastern Visayas campus, Andales competed against more than 10,000 students from 178 countries all over the world, reports GMA News.
