The House of Representatives on Monday approved the divorce bill on third and final reading, on a 134-57 vote, with two abstentions. President Rodrigo Duterte was not supportive of the bill, which seeks to institutionalize absolute divorce and dissolution of marriage in the country, reports Interaksyon.com.
