High Breast Cancer Rate Linked to Manila's Toxic Air?
/A 2009 study by a published in the Asian Pacific Journal for Cancer Prevention confirmed that the Philippines has one of the highest incidences of breast cancer in Asia, reports Inquirer.net. The paper also showed that breast cancer incidence in seven cities in Metro Manila was much higher than in 14 cities and municipalities in Rizal province, which could be linked to the concentration of certain airborne toxic substances in Metro Manila.
