Job Openings in the Philippines for U.S.-Licensed Filipino Nurses

American health insurance companies that are cost-effectively offshoring their clinical services are creating a new demand in the Philippines for U.S.-licensed Filipino nurses, reports Manila Standard Today. House Deputy Majority Leader Roman Romulo said on January that the pay is not as good as U.S. nursing salaries, but it is higher than the average call center’s. The work includes evaluating the patient’s needs and required treatment and reviewing post-discharge care requirements. Three companies—Radiant Services, Exelservice Holdings, and United Health Group—have been employing Filipino nurses with U.S. licenses.
