30,000 Get Dual Citizenship

The Bureau of Immigration reported that 30,362 “former Filipinos” reacquired their Philippine citizenship and became dual citizens in 2012 compared with 19,328 in 2011, reports GMA News. Most of the petitions were filed at Philippine consulates in Washington D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Honolulu, Ottawa, Vancouver, Toronto, and London.
