At the turn of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas’ 41st year on June 16, 2021, the first-ever songwriting competition about Filipino migration overseas was launched. Dubbed Himigrasyon, the songfest was primarily meant to serve as a tribute to the sacrifices and important contributions of that “ONE” community of an estimated 10 million Filipinos overseas to their host countries and Philippine development, especially during this time of a global pandemic.

Kiana V announces her selection as Spotify EQUAL Philippines's Artist of the Month. The audio industry is not an equitable space: only 1 in 5 artists are women, according to the 2020 Annenberg study. To celebrate the announcement, Kiana V was featured on Spotify's NYC Times Square billboard. Kiana V will continue to take fans behind the scenes with her travels to see the billboard and across the country in the MYX original series documenting her musical journey, called “The Crossover.” The TV show will air globally on linear TV, MYX.GLOBAL digital and @myxglobal social platforms.
