FACINE 24 runs from October 20 to 22, 2017 at Roxie Theater in San Francisco. The longest-running festival of films from the Philippines and the Filipino diaspora, FACINE bestows the Gintong Ani Award (Lifetime Achievement) on Filipino filmmaker,  historian Nick Deocampo; Pre- and post-festival events include Lecture on Secret History of Philippine Cinema by Andrew Leavold (October 18), Short Films Competition (October 19); Trainors Training Workshop by Prof. Deocampo (October 23).
