A Hague-based Filipina engineer’s interpretation of Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring” is one of the 170 artworks selected for exhibition, among 3,500 entrants, by the Mauritshuis Museum until June 4, 2023. Maria Glensie Hombrebueno, 32, an engineer from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, migrated to the Netherlands in 2019 (See PhilippineCanadianNews.com for story).
