PH’s First Woman Architect Turns 100

Aida Cruz Del Rosario, who made history the first registered female architect in the Philippines, turned 100 years old on August 11, 2022. Del Rosario was also the first female graduate of UST’s architecture school in 1947 and placed 7th in the licensure in a field dominated by men (See Interaksyon for story).

BRP Antonio Luna Places 3rd in RIMPAC Gunnery Exercises

The BRP Antonio Luna placed third out of 17 warships that participated in gunnery exercises in the recent RIMPAC naval exercises. The P8-billion missile-guided destroyer is the sister ship of the BRP Jose Rizal, the flagship of the Philippine Navy (See Esquiremag.ph for story).

SB19 to Go on World Tour, Release New Single

SB19 announced their return to the music scene and said that they will hold a world tour and release a new single next month. WYAT [Where You At] Tour will kick off on September 17 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, followed by a series of shows in Clark, Cebu, and Davao, among others.
