Vallejo’s City Council on Tuesday, Jan. 11, elected Filipino American councilor Rozzana Verder-Aliga as vice mayor for a second term.

Verder-Aliga will serve as the city’s vice mayor again in 2022 after the city council voted in favor of her 5-1. She served as vice mayor from January to December 2021. She first served as vice mayor from January to December 2016 (See INQUIRER for story).
