Governor Gavin Newsom said yesterday that he is appointing Alameda Assemblymember Rob Bonta as the next California Attorney General. Bonta will fill seat vacated by Xavier Becerra, who recently became President Biden’s Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (See Inquirer.net for story).

Second Satellite Designed and Made in PH Now Orbiting Earth

Maya-2, the second cube satellite (cubesat) designed and made by Filipino engineers under a joint program by UP Diliman (UPD) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), is now orbiting the earth.
