Cruise Industry to Hire 100,000 Workers, PH to Be Key Source

The international cruise industry will need some additional 100,000 new employees over the next three years, according to Daniela Fahr, CEO of Connect, Germany’s largest recruitment agency for cruise ships, reports Inquirer.net.

Filipina Domestic Worker Executed in Saudi Arabia

A Filipina domestic worker was executed in Saudi Arabia after being found guilty of murder. The 39-year-old was put to death on Tuesday, Jan. 29, and her family was notified the following day, said Elmer Cato from the Philippines department of foreign affairs (Al Jazeera).
