Twitter is testing a Android app for Twitter Lite, a native app version of a mobile web site that uses less mobile data to work. The lighter data load means that the app is especially useful for emerging markets where data networks are often slower and more expensive for consumers to use. 80% of Filipinos Satisfied with Democracy -- Survey

In face-to-face interviews, 80 percent of 1,200 adult respondents nationwide expressed satisfaction with the country’s democracy, according to a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey. The majority (61 percent) of Filipinos also prefer a democratic over an authoritarian form of government, reports Inquirer.net.
