COMELEC Junks Proposed Online Voting for Overseas Filipinos

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) junked the idea of allowing Filipinos living or working abroad to vote online or through Internet voting. Though Internet voting would have been more convenient for overseas Filipino workers (OFW) or Filipinos residing in other countries, there was still the need to ensure that the process will not be infiltrated by hackers, reports Interaksyon.com.
