3 Filipinos Rescued 13 Missing As Trawler Sinks in Bering Sea

Three of the 13 Filipino seamen who were rescued from the Korean fishing trawler that sank off the Bering Sea on December 1 have been identified, reports InterAksyon.com. They were Rowell Aliecera, 30, Teddy Parangue Jr., 31 and Micol Sabay, 39. The 13 were among the 60 crew members who were on board the 1,753-ton, 85-meter long, 28-year-old Oryong 501 that sank near Alaska Monday.
