The Department of Labor and Employment seeks to reduce the estimated 8,000 overstaying overseas Filipino workers in South Korea so that it could increase its deployment in the north Asian country through its Employment Permit System (EPS), reports Interaksyon.com.

PH to Issue Only e-Passports By End of 2015

Beginning October 2015, only e-Passports (dark maroon machine-readable passports) will be accepted by immigration authorities as the old passports are phased out, reports Inquirer.net.
