Filipino-Salvadoran Teen Gets Perfect AP Calculus Score

The son of a Salvadoran maintenance worker and a Filipina nurse got a perfect score on his Advanced Placement Calculus exam, one of only 12 (out of 302,531!) in the entire world to do so. Cedrick Argueta, a 17-year-old senior, has become a celebrity at Abraham Lincoln High School, a school of a little over 1,000 students in the Latino neighborhood Lincoln Heights in Los Angeles, reports NBC News.
